7. Can several motors be operated with one frequency inverter?

In general, it is possible to operate several electric motors of the same size connected in parallel via a frequency inverter, but this requires a lot of effort. For example, the frequency inverter should be designed 20% larger than the total power of the drives. In addition, the inverter must be operated in V/F mode. An important point is the protection of the individual motors. A suitable motor protection switch should be used for every three-phase motor. In addition, a temperature monitor (PTC thermistor) must be installed for each motor.
