3. Is the electric motor connected in star or delta?

From an output of 0.09kW to 3.0kW, the motors are usually connected in a star connection, as they are operated at 230V/400V. From 4.0 kW, the drives must be connected in a triangle as they are designed for 400V/690V. This information applies to 2 + 4 pole standard motors.
