5. When does an electric motor need reinforced storage?

Reinforced bearings are used in electric motors when the transverse forces on the motor shaft are too high. This is often the case with larger engines from size 200 upwards when the mechanical power is transmitted using V-belts. This bearing reinforcement is only necessary on the shaft side (A side) of the motor. In the table below, you will find a list listing the engine types in which the installation of a reinforced bearing (NU bearing) is possible. If bearing reinforcement is required for smaller drives, we would like to request your request for technical inspection.
