4. How can the brake be released from the brake motor?
The spring-applied brake from the brake motor usually works according to the quiescent current principle. It comes off when there is voltage on the motor winding, i.e. the motor is running. If you want to release the brake mechanically, a manual release must be installed. This hand release lever looks out of the fan cover and must be pushed backwards with force to operate it. This can be ordered as an accessory from the brake motor online shop.
